Kitten Waitlist Application
Thank you for your interest in a Miracatz kitten. Our kittens will go to their new homes spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and will have age appropriate vaccinations. We place our kittens in approved homes under contract. A contract which includes, at minimum, that they will be indoors only, will NOT be declawed, and that they will come back to us in the event that you are no longer able to care for them.
While we cannot guarantee their health absolutely, as they are live animals, we do take several steps to ensure that they are as healthy as possible. These steps include, at a minimum, testing our breeding animals for known hereditary health conditions, regular vet visits, and feeding a high quality food.
If your kitten passes away due to FIP, or any hereditary condition, within the first three years we will do our best to offer a replacement kitten upon receipt of a necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian. There is now a treatment for FIP. If you are able follow the treatment protocols, we will do our best to help with a portion of the costs of treatment.
Kittens are not available to reserve until around 8 to 10 weeks weeks of age. This is give us the time to observe and evaluate them for health, adherence to the breed standard, temperament, personality, and gives us the time to decide if a particular kitten will be added to our breeding program or the program of another responsible breeder. Kittens are usually available to go to their new homes between 16 and 18 weeks of age.
We do not ship our kittens. If you are not within driving distance of the Houston area, arrangements can be made to have the kitten flown airport to airport with a courier at your cost. If you wish to fly into Houston, we can meet you at either Hobby or AIH. We do not place companion kittens outside of the United States.
Starting early 2025 Kittens are priced at $3000 USD. The first step is to submit an application to be considered for a future litter. Once approved and added to our waitlist you'll be notified if a particular kitten meets your criteria. When a kitten is made available a $800 USD deposit is required to reserve.
